Day 1 :
Plan

08:30 am EAT: Your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi.

Scenic Drive to Lake Chala: Enjoy a scenic drive to Lake Chala, located on the border of Tanzania and Kenya, near the eastern edge of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrival at Lake Chala: Arrive at the private game reserve overlooking the stunning crater lake.

Descent to the Lake: Your guide will lead you on a descent to the shores of Lake Chala.

Swimming and Relaxation: Spend time enjoying the pristine waters of the lake for a refreshing swim. Relax by the shore and soak in the natural beauty.

Exploring the Surroundings: Explore the lush landscapes around the lake, taking in the diverse flora and fauna.

Wildlife Viewing: Keep a lookout for the various wildlife that inhabit the area, including monkeys, antelopes, and birdlife. The possibility of spotting elephants exists but is not guaranteed.

Optional Canoeing: You will have the option to rent canoes and enjoy a peaceful paddle on the tranquil waters of Lake Chala (at your own expense).

Lunch: Enjoy a provided lunch box in a scenic location by the lake. Return to Moshi: In the late afternoon, you will begin your drive back to Moshi.

Drop-off: You will be dropped off at your hotel in Moshi, concluding your Lake Chala day trip.
