Miwaleni Travel is a locally owned and operated tour company with its head offices in Moshi Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. A team of professionals in tourism, wildlife, community, and environment from the local community runs this tour company sustainably, being guided by the great philosophy that ‘Sustainability IS THE HEART OF THE IMPACT. We focus on causing a positive impact on society in whatever we do in the tourism industry. With more than 5 years in business, Miwaleni Travel has its own interesting history from the origin of its name ‘Miwale’ which is a tree, then to its full name Miwaleni representing the village with the trees called Miwale. Having visited this village which is literally poor and undeveloped but with a lot of natural resources we thought of rising its awareness globally in different ways and one of them being through sustainable tourism. We are and is specialized in hiking Adventures and Wildlife Safari Tours. We are highly committed to offering the best quality services and meeting the international standards of each of our clients to build a long-term relationship with us and the community around us.

Safety standards
Safety for our clients is for sure the number 1 priority and hence the members of Miwaleni Travel have a medical background to check the health of our clients before starting any adventure. We always take note of advice from your doctors or any food special requests you might have. We have special forms for our guests to fill out describing their health background for our reference. Furthermore, all our guides are certified by Wilderness First Responder (WFR), meaning they all have good experience and the ability to make decisions on any serious matter on your health in medical and evacuation and they always have with them medical kits for any emergency.
We are socially and environmentally conscious
This is all that we do in tourism and this is the main reason for us to start this company. We arrange charity climbs and help volunteers meet their wants. Some percentage from every adventure we go to the community and together during your adventure we will get a chance to donate
